Training course for users of software developed specifically for timber harvesting. Young woodcutters will be introduced to new technical tools for woodworking in order to improve their formation and working methods. They will learn about the principles of cost calculation and its benefits for planning and organising construction sites. Furthermore they will use sector specific software programmes to make cost calculating more efficient. Because using cablelifts for natural forest cultivation is becoming more and more important, the woodcutters will be introduced to the basics of modern design and planning. Moreover, constructing cable lines with modern machines requires technical know how of the machine, of occurring strengths and of health and safety. By using a new tool to calculate the occurring strengths (rope crane project - seilkranPROjekt) the participants will be shown how to meet the minimum standards for a secure working environment and will learn about standardised planning.
