- The aim of the "MIM-Key aspects of the Wood Economy I" is to strengthen the management expertise of small businesses, through transmitting knowledge on the basic themes of (operational) leadership, management, and various wood-specific issues. - Currently there are no training courses in the Alps, which cover the entire value chain of the forest and timber industry. This course will increase the competitiveness of companies in the forestry and wood industry to give a better answer to the even greater challenges of the future. -The current project shows that the participants cover nearly all professions of the value chain (forestry, wood processing sector, construction and furniture industries and trade) and absolutely benefit from the mutual exchange and cooperation in the group.
