The ESF project "Regiograno" aims at creating a sustainable network in the area of "regional cereal" between relevant partners in Alto Adige and at improving regional grain production cycles. First of all, regions where identified in which growers and potential purchasers, like bakers or mills, have a high interest in this project. In the selected regions, the cereal farmers are supported by the farmers associations, and are advised on cultivation and harvesting methods by Laimburg and other industry experts. The TIS innovation park is responsible for managing the network of companies that have been involved in the project (including mills), thus ensuring the acceptance and the assurance of the production cycle of the cereal.
