InterTech aims at supporting the innovation activities of enterprises and institutions. The focus lays on overcoming the barriers of innovation in new product development and on using new technologies to improve processes in the participating regions' productive sectors. Among the key-technologies with great potential for innovation are: lightweight construction and bonding technology, computer simulation, rapid prototyping technologies, surface treatment, measurement technologies for product innovation and mechatronics, automation, technology or laser sensors process innovation.
